An international Leisure Group that currently operates approx. 100 local leisure & entertainment centers (bowling, karting, trampolines, action games...) globally, plans to further grow very fast and operate 1,000 centers and become the worldwide market leader by 2030. Germany is the priority market for the Company's development. In this context of ambitious growth, we are looking for our Chief Operating Officer (m/f/d) who will be running and growing the business in Germany.

Aufgaben
  • To manage, run and grow the existing network, which is set to become the leader in multi-activity leisure industry in Germany.
  • To manage the rapid growth of the network on a national scale from a HR, commercial and operational point of view.
  • To make the network the best-performing leisure business in the country in terms of profitability, customer experience and operational management.
  • To ensure the performance of the sites, in particular the sales and operating profit of all the sites within his scope.
  • To manage the teams (sites and head office) and their growth.
  • To ensure the quality of the customer experience offered for each activity, in particular bowling and catering.
  • To guarantee operating rules of the sites, compliance with legislation and health and safety regulations.

You will report to the Company´s CEO based in Europe. As the network grows, you will manage:

1/ a team of expert Regional Managers, each of whom will manage a zone within the country

2/ a sales department dedicated to B2B clients

3/ an Executive Chef to oversee the F&B business

4/ a head office team managing the German subsidiary's various support and business functions.

You will work closely with the Group's head office functions (administration, development, construction, marketing.. .).


Profil
  • 5-10 years professional experience in an operational role with managerial responsibilities in the leisure, retail, restaurant or hospitality sector.
  • Excellent knowledge of the national market.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Autonomy, ambition, enthusiasm, pragmatism, and a caring attitude are the key qualities for this position.
  • Frequent travel required.
